    Theme Customization

    You can further customize Geriss the way your content is organized. Theme code is well documented and organized and can be customized. You can make more advanced customizations in the HTML, CSS, or Javascript code itself by following best practices.

    This article covers the following topics:

    • Managing your logo
    • Managing Custom Block

    Managing your logo

    Logo can be managed from two places

    1. Using Branding option of Customize theme: Upload your logo using branding option

        2. Add code snippet:

    • Go to theme editor and upload your logo in assets
    • Open header and replace {{logo}} with

              <a href = "">
              <img src = "path-of-your-logo"   alt="" title="" /></a>

    Enter URL where you want to redirect when logo gets clicked.

    Managing Custom Block

    In order to add links just do the following

    •  Go to html editor and open home
    •  Now add the link of categories/section or article replacing '#' <a herf = "#">

    eg

    <a href="/hc/en-us/categories/200520472">
    <span class="pencil-icon icons-list blue"></span>
    <h3>Getting Started</h3>
    </a>

    To change the icon

    • Upload the icons at theme assets
    • Go to document.head
    • Give the path of the uploaded image in

    .pencil-icon {
    background: url("@{hc_assets}/pencil-icon.png") no-repeat center center #4386fb;
    }

    replace @{hc_assets}/pencil-icon.png with your full image path

    eg.

     .pencil-icon {background: url("//p3.zdassets.com/hc/theme_assets/695855/200107967/getting-started.png) no-repeat center center #4386fb;}
