    Theme Customization

    You can further customize Paonid the way your content is organised. Theme code is well documented and organized and can be customized. You can make more advanced customizations in the HTML, CSS, or Javascript code itself by following best practices.

    This article covers the following topics:

    • Working with main image
    • Working with custom blocks
    • Working with sidebar menu
    • Adding footer links

     

    Working with main image

    a.) Go to html editor and click assets

    b.) Upload the main image and copy its name

    c.) Go to document.head and replace the name with the uploaded image name.

    eg:

    .header-bg{

      background:url({{asset 'header.jpg'}}) no-repeat ;

    }

     to

     .header-bg{

      background:url({{asset 'your-uploaded-image-name'}}) no-repeat ;

    }

     

     

    Working with Custom Block 

    To change the icons

    a.) Upload the icons at theme assets.

    b.) Go to Home page

    c.) Give the name of the uploaded image for the icon you want to replace.

    eg:

    <img src="{{asset 'getting-started.png'}}" alt="Getting Started" />

    to

    <img src="{{asset 'your-uploaded-icon-name'}}" alt="Getting Started" />

     

     

     

    To add the links

    In order to add links just do the following

    a.) Go to html editor and open home

    b.) Now, add the links of categories/section or article replacing '#'  <a herf = "#">

     

     

    Working with sidebar menu

    In order to add links just do the following

    a.) Go to html editor and open article

    b.) Now, add the links of categories/section/article and their title replacing  <li><a href="#">Read our Docs</a></li>

     

    eg : <i><a href="hc/en-us/categories/Test=category-1">Gettig Started</a></li>

     

     

     

    4.4 Adding Footer Links

    In order to add links just do the following

    a.) Go to html editor and open footer

    b.) Now, add the links of  <li><a href="#">Read our Docs</a></li>

    eg :  <h3>Most popular phones</h3>

            <ul>

              <li><a href="http://www.diziana.com">Hot offers</a></li>

     

     

    Adjusting general settings for mobile layout

     

    a.) Click General settings in the Tools panel on the lower-right side of the page. 

     

    b.) Now unselect the Mobile layout check-box to allow the theme to display. ( ignore if you want to use Zendesk Mobile layout )

    c.) Select the Display unsafe content check box

    d.) Click Update to save the changes
