    If you are new to Diziana here's some quick steps for how to get started.

    Associate Icons with Category or Section

    Please follow instructions below to associate icons with category.

    1. Rename your icon file(s) to have category-id or section-id as filename (excluding extention). Let's say if your category id is 200708412, rename icon file to 200708412.png (or .svg or .jpg). The category-id or section-id can be found from URL, as shown below as an example:
      1. Category ID (highlighted part):
        zendesk-category-id.png
      2. Section ID (highlighted part):
        zendesk-section-id.png
    2. Once you have renamed files on your local machine/desktop, it's time to upload those to theme assets online.
    3. Login in your Zendesk Help Center as an agent (with Guide Manager privleges) or admin
    4. Go to Guide Admin > Theming Workbench > Select Theme > Edit Code (as shown below in animated GIF).

    5. Upload assets (renamed icon files) to Assets (in left sidebar as shown above GIF)
    6. Click on uploaded icon file, and pay attention to area on right
    7. Copy script as shown highlighted below (as an example):



    8. Paste this code in document_head.hbs template as shown below (content might vary in your document_head.hbs, following is an example for this tutorial):

    9. If you are using older version (prior to Dec 2017) of Diziana themes, you need to edit script.js for following:
        var _icon = "<img src='"+ window["assets"+_catId]+ "' class='cat-image "+_catId+"'>";
